Our journey to becoming a barbet breeder came from falling in love with our first one followed by our desire to spread the word on this wonderful breed! We want to help you add a barbet to your family and experience their love.

Our barbets are raised in our home and are loved and cared for deeply.  They are raised in the salt air the island provides and sandy water filled beach days.  They love car rides, especially in the convertible, enjoy meeting new people and the smell of the marsh and beach.  They love to be included!

We train with a doorbell system to let us know when they would like to come in from outside and the Fluent Pet buttons to communicate with us indoors. Our dogs learn currently up to 40 words to help them communicate their wants and needs.

Sires and Dams are on site are all AKC, OFA tested for hips, elbows and eyes. DNA tested and screened for 273 diseases and conditions. Research on full pedigrees available on AKC or pawpeds.com. Testing results available on OFA.org.
